THis school is a nice rural school; considering the geografical make up I think that they are doing well in regards to the curriculum standards. I think that the academic programs can be a little more sought after however, they do well. HKT has a marching band that needs to start back performing they have't had an actul performance in about six years, also they have a chorus that never perform or compete on or off campus. Sports are a plus moreover, this what makes the school including an average 12-18 member cheerleading squad that can use a coach so that they can be a bit more competetive. The school spirit is no longer what it use to be but overall its apretty good school. Academics are on the rise but the students are not challenged and the teachers need to make class a bit more exciting. Oustanding State of the Art Facility during the time it was built always clean and smell good. Parents are more involved in the elementary secture of this school however, willing to come if they had a reason.
