School Reviews

2   2/14/2015
This school is unsupportive if you are a working parent. The administration is very rude and not helpful, and frankly it is annoying to be talked down to every time you have a question. The teachers are great, but the curriculum is very unexciting and they are not concerned with developing individual growth. They are more concerned with test scores to keep their rating (and funding) high, than helping the students themselves. I do not think it deserves it's reputation. We are actually transferring to a private school with better academics and a better staff.

Teachers in 19 States Allowed to Physically Punish Students
As of 2014, nineteen states still allow corporal punishment – spanking and paddling the most common choices – in their public schools. However, some argue that not only are these punishments physically harmful, they also are disproportionately administered to students of color. As a result, House democrats have taken up the issue in a new bill that would ban all forms of corporal punishment nationwide.
