I joined the New Leaf Center Program on January 10, 2019, I will say my time at N.LC has been an interesting ride indeed, I have a few complaints to start with.1.) Health and Safety, The buses are old, and there is no air condition or heater, the bus drivers are rude, and paras on the buses don''t do their job, they will kick you off the bus if you fall out because of heat, there just doing that so they don''t have to pay for no air conditioners, the walls paint is peeling off, the floors are destroyed, and there is mold in the school, the food is spoiled!2.) Teachers & Staff, The teachers, and staff are weird people, I get bad vibes when I am around those people, they drink, and they act worst the, us (Students), and those are the people who are supposed to be Are role models, the people who we trust and love, people who we look up too, it sickens me to see these adults act so foolish around these children, this school clearly does not know how to hire people! I can only give this school 3 Stars Positive sides:1.) This place was very welcoming from the first day I arrived for P.A.S.S, to the time I stepped into my class2.) They do an amazing job on accommodating students with disability''s who need that extra push and extra time, my grades have improved, when I first got there at New Leaf I had all F''s in all six classes my freshman year, at the end of year my grades improved enough too were I could get the credits for that year, I had a (D) (C) (B) & (A) I got one F that was it! We had 7 classes so luckily I still had a total of six classes earned, (AMAZING) my grades are amazing now I have A''s & B''s I would not have done it without NEW LEAF CENTER When it came College Preparedness/Future Planning, I loved how easy going the staff where during my meetings, they helped me out so much they helped me figure out somewhat where I wanna start off doing in the future after high school, To sum it up! I do not recommend NLC, But it is not that bad, they are very easy going, and they really work hard to get you back on track in life!

If your child needs an alternative school, take your child to counseling and seek private help for home-schooling for the year they are expelled from the general school district. If you love your child, do not send them to Kingsbury.
