School Reviews

2   4/4/2007
As a parent of a former student of PS 116 I would not reccomend this school to any parent parent. I moved to NYC from Buffalo NY and the school system is a total disaster. The Quality of academic programs is very poor and limited/ There is no such thing as music class, the Auditorium/Gym is not fit & equiped adequately. There is not enough academic for children. The school facilities are very poor and old, the school needs a major renovation. And it is a disgrace that there isn't enough parent involment. Also, I may add that the custodians of the school set a very bad example to the children by having female companionship during and off school hours in the school. I removed my sons from the school & enrolled them in a private school. This school needs to be reformed in every way possible.
