School Reviews

It's a great school for younger students, but not for older kids, grades 6, 7, 8. The teacher of the older kids is ill-equipped to teach all the subjects at that level. Also, she contributes to bullying in her classroom by name calling and making fun of the students she doesn't like. It's well known that Marcia chooses her favorites and if your child isn't one of them, plan on them having lots of struggles, with little to no support from the administration.

At the younger ages, JMS is marvelous! For the older kids though, they tend to get bored. The 6/7/8 grade teacher is not capable of managing that wide range of ages and properly teaching core subjects. Great for younger kids...but switch to the middle school for the oldrers.
